Tsogzolyn Monastery

Tsogzolyn Monastery is a historic monastery ruin located in Khanbogd soum, Umnugovi aimag. It is connected with Noyon Khutagt Danzanravjaa and the Galba monastery complex. Together with Demchig Monastery and Ereet Monastery, Tsogzolyn Monastery is known as part of the Galbyn Three Monasteries. These monasteries were built in the Galba Mountain area and are important for understanding the religious and cultural history of the Gobi region. Some historical sources also mention this site as Tsogtsolyn Khural. The monastery was an important place for Buddhist worship, teaching and local religious gatherings. Today, Tsogzolyn Monastery remains as a historic ruin and is protected as an immovable historical and cultural heritage site of Mongolia.
